Meet the host

My name is Susanna.

I am a Somatic Mentor, a guide of embodied movement, and a long-time, multi-style yoga teacher. My deepest calling is to support people in building the capacity to be in their lives rather than interpreting them — to return to their essential nature.

Somatic work transformed my life. It brought me back to my aliveness, my power, and my softness. It taught me how to live as myself, as I am. When we meet our human complexity with presence, curiosity, and compassion, we create the possibility for true intimacy — with ourselves and with others.

I’ve studied yoga extensively (E-RYT 1000+) across India, Costa Rica, and Europe, with a focus on Trauma-Informed Yoga. My training also includes the Somatic Activated Healing Method™, Somatic Therapy (Embodied Processing), and work with the Somatic Healing Institute.

I do many things, but at the heart of it all is this: I support people in reclaiming their aliveness, their authenticity, and their innate freedom.

Yin Yoga invites us into stillness. But for many, stillness doesn’t feel peaceful.
It feels uncomfortable, restless, or disconnected. Because the missing piece isn’t more stillness. It’s the ability to actually be in the body. This training brings that piece in.
